Families United Network is a COA/Hague licensed non-profit adoption agency. Families United Network also provides domestic adoption, birth parent counseling, foster care,SWAN services, day care, and group home services for the state of Pennsylvania. We are committed to providing our client families with honest and professional services, with the best interests of families and children in mind at all times. We work with families across the state, no matter the location, to assist in adoption or counseling services.
Established in 1996, the agency began by servicing a small number of children in foster care from several counties spread across the state of Pennsylvania. Initially the agency provided foster care services in the central, western, and north central part of the state. In February of 1997, Families United Network, Inc. opened the doors to Ashler Manor, a residential facility for teenage girls. In 2005, Arborvale was opened as a life readiness program for boys in Millersville, PA. In 2006 a private adoption program was added.
Today, Families United Network, Inc. provides care to over four hundred children through foster care, adoption, and residential services. There are seven offices throughout Pennsylvania and three residential facilities. New programs are considered and developed regularly in order to strengthen our continuum of services to help children.
